About CBAL

Our Story and Journey

We developed our first software known as the ASSET Series (Accounting Software for Education & Training), the brainchild and innovation of our founder-advisor Allahyarhamah Dr Arfah Salleh.

The ASSET series is patented, endorsed and even accredited by both local and international professional associations such as The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA), The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (CIMA), the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).

Through our participation in various international and domestic expos and exhibition, we were honoured with awards such as The Ministry of Science & Technology and Innovation of Malaysia Expo 2003 & 2004 (Gold Medal), Salon International Des Inventions, Geneva 2005 (Gold Medal), University Putra Malaysia Invention and Research Award 2003 (Gold Medal), MSC Malaysia APICTA Award 2007 and others that recognize the agenda we have been championing.

We have since developed and deployed other software and solutions catered to SME businesses such as accounting software, HR software, hotel management software-suite, college administration management system and several bespoke customized software for various businesses and industries.

The culmination of experience in education and business led us on the path to become a niche software company cum training provider, bridging theory to practice. We started designing software as learning-tools for education which are embedded in our hands-on learning by doing entrepreneurship training programmes.
